Intensive Outpatient Programs provide the emotional support
that few rural communities can offer their senior residents

Rural Healthcare Developers operates behavioral health programs that provide emotional treatment for those affected with changes caused by aging. Patients' Choice operates 16 Intensive Outpatient Programs connected within 35 miles of hospitals owned or managed by Rural Healthcare Developers.

IOPs meet three days a week providing wellness treatment for adults experiencing these symptoms:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety and stress
  • Memory loss
  • Medication misuse
  • Hallucinations/delusions
  • Separation and grief
  • Suicidal gestures or attempts
  • Paranoia
  • Risk taking behavior
  • Alcohol and drug abuse
