August Geeter, LPC
President of Clinical Services & Operations
August is responsible for the ongoing oversight of all behavioral health services for RHD. She provides behavioral health and program operational leadership to a multidisciplinary team of professionals. She had nearly a decade of behavioral health management experience in inpatient and outpatient geriatric and adolescent psychiatry. August obtained her M.Ed. in Community Counseling as well as her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Mississippi. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a member of the American Counseling Association. Other accomplishments and memberships include member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; board member Mississippi Alzheimer’s Association, chairperson, Alzheimer’s Memory Walk. While attending the University of Mississippi, Chancellor’s Leadership Class, Ole Miss Ambassador, Ole Miss Rebel Recruiter and treasurer, Black Student Union.

Jamel Abraham, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
As a certified public accountant with extensive experience in finance and accounting with major manufacturers and in private practice, Jamel provides a steady hand to guide the financial duties of RHD. Jamel is responsible for management of the financial and accounting functions including preparation of monthly financial statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and human resources. He earned his CPA at Delta State University with majors in finance and accounting. At Delta State he received the Wall Street Journal award. For 15 years he was the comptroller of Producers Feed Company, managing financial affairs of a company with $33 million annual sales. He was in private CPA practice for for five years before becoming associate manager of accounting and finance at Delta and Pine Land Company handling accounting functions for the company’s international operations.

Mary Jo Chauvin, RN
President of Clinical and Operational Development
Mary Jo is a skilled career professional with more than 20 years practical experience in mental health, hospital, home health and primary care environments. She is established in child/adolescent behavioral health including assessment, treatment planning, education regarding medication and treatment, lab work, documentation with care plan for diagnosis, and administration of treatment procedures. She has managed a heavy daily patient volume including intake assessments, appointment scheduling and patient referral. She is proficient in all documentation/record maintenance/paperwork to insure accuracy and patient confidentiality. She has supervised up to 40 employees in multiple outpatient behavioral health settings. At RHD, Mary Jo has been called upon to reestablish services at two hospitals - one which required complete creation of all departments and their attending state and federal requirements and licenses.

Vicki Webb
President of Marketing and Business Development
Rising through the ranks of healthcare marketing, Vicki is responsible for introducing RHD’s health services in the marketplace. She is responsible for overseeing the efforts of each marketing team for which RHD has contracted to provide services as well as marketing for Rural Healthcare Developers. Additionally, she is involved in the early stages of acquisition and/or development of new businesses or contracts. Vicki has been a strong force in healthcare marketing for the past five years, where she has consistently been recognized for her results. She attributes her success and ability to provide effective training for marketing teams to her experience as a teacher and journalist. As a teacher, she was twice honored by the Mississippi Economic Council and selected by the Poynter Institute as a Dow Jones fellow. As a journalist, she was recognized for her work by the Mississippi Press Association.

Randy Chesney
Regional Director of Development
Randy’s role at RHD is to find new opportunities for growth of the company. He is involved in locating and evaluating possible hospital acquisitions, securing financing for corporate investments and finding real estate in the healthcare industry that would meet company goals. Randy is a business owner with more than 25 years experience in management, marketing, sales and training. He is particularly skilled in determining, developing and securing funding for successful business growth. He owned a variety of wholesale and retail businesses which grew from two employees and annual sales of $300.000 to 50 employees with annual sales of $10 million. For 13 years he was regional sales officer for a manufacturing firm. He was also a school teacher and administrator. He was graduated from Delta State University with B.S. in Education and

Tammy Hutchinson, RN
Director of Nursing for Outpatient Services
Tammy directs the nursing component of outpatient behavioral health services including quality and compliance. It is a vital role that directly affects the financial as well as clinical viability of the outpatient programs. Tammy is responsible for effective budgeting, developing policies and procedures, and analyzing performance improvement as well as financial reports. Tammy develops and implements plans for increased community and physician awareness of behavioral health services. She has extensive knowledge in regulatory requirements including JCAHO, Medicare/Medicaid, and state requirements. She develops and implements plans for recruitment and retention of nurses including a float pool, staffing grid/plan, skill competencies, and a cross-training plan. She is responsible for practice standards and quality of nursing care. Tammy has 24 years of clinical experience along with many years of managerial experience. The managerial/leadership experience includes program director and nurse manager roles in inpatient/outpatient chemical dependency, home health, medical-surgical unit, women’s health unit, and chief nursing officer at a rural hospital. She received an Associate Degree in Nursing from Holmes Community College. She is currently a full-time student at the University of Phoenix and is on the National Dean’s List. She will receive her Bachelor of Nursing degree in March 2008 from the University of Phoenix.

Wanda Rodgers, LMSW
Regional Director of Clinical Services
Wanda has 13 years experience in psychiatric social work including six years associated with the Mississippi State Hospital in Whitfield. She was graduated from Jackson State University with a Masters of Social Work. Wanda is responsible for supervision of geriatric outpatient programs and interdisciplinary team. She handles personnel staffing of the outpatient programs. She conducts group, individual and family therapy and monitors daily documentation, individualized treatment plans and participates in interdisciplinary treatment meetings. She conducts psychological assessment upon admission and assists with census management. In the seven years before coming to RHD, Wanda worked at Central Mississippi Medical Center, Region Health System and the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She served internships at Marian Hill Chemical Dependency Unit and Baptist Children Village. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and is a Licensed Master Social Worker.

Judy White, LPN
Program Development Consultant
Judy is a licensed practical nurse and began her nursing career working with Geriatric Psych patients and performing different roles. She has performed as a nurse, intake coordinator, compliance, case management, marketing, Program Director for Senior Care, Program Development Consultant for Senior Care. In the Program Development role she deals with coordination of referrals, doctors and families. She provides in-service training to all local agencies and surrounding areas telling them about the program. Judy monitors how the program is operating and makes recommendations of ways to provide the best care for patients and helping patients achieve their goals that have been implemented throughout their stay. Judy is a certified Crisis Intervention instructor where she can educate and certify staff on effective crisis intervention

Walter Webb
Communications Director
Walter directs the production of marketing collateral and communications in support of all RHD’s operations and programs. Much of the direction is in support of the aggressive marketing programs for RHD services and in connection with marketing contracts with other hospitals and healthcare units. The Communications Director develops and produces a variety of products including brochures, newspaper, radio and magazine advertising, television production, direct mail campaigns, billboards and Internet sites. The position involves every aspect of internal and external communications that affect the image and position of Rural Healthcare Developers. Webb comes to RHD after 27 years in the newspaper industry, serving as manager of the Mississippi Press Association and editor and publisher of a community newspaper. While serving as newspaper editor, Webb was involved in the promotion of industrial development and was recognized as Mississippi Industry Volunteer of the Year in 1986. In 2002 he started a marketing company specializing in graphic and web design focusing on tourism, medical, industry and education projects.

Rosalind R. Harper
Health Information Administrator
Rosalind is proficient in the important process of recording and archiving medical records and billing. She performs clinical assignments including CPT Coding validation, project management, data analysis and presentation of data and chart reviews. She establishes policies and procedures for medical records, reviewing and analyzing delinquencies on a daily basis, performing monthly evaluations on employees. She received a BS in Health Information Management from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis after receiving an associates degree in Office Administration from Itawamba Community College. Before moving to healthcare she had a 10-year tenure in banking, rising from teller to branch manager for Renasant Bank with supervision over seven employees.

Marjorie Haymon
Human Resources/Compliance
Marjorie has a masters degree in Healthcare Administration and a bachelors degree in Business Administration. While completing her studies in healthcare administration, Marjorie was a recognized professional in the retail sector. She was department manager and store manager in major retail stores, managing 47 employees at Parisian Department Store. She was responsible for recruiting and hiring staff and conducted leadership meetings. At RHD Marjorie handles human resources and monitors compliance of PHP programs.

Bea Green
Regional Community Education Director
Bea comes to RHD with considerable healthcare marketing experience. Her expertise and organizational skills have led her to be tapped as trainer for new marketing personnel. Bea is also responsible for marketing the state of Mississippi for the CARE Network (Central Admission/Referral for the Elderly). CARE is a clearinghouse which will provide Mississippi or Louisiana nursing homes and other facilities the convenience of finding suitable treatment with the convenience of one quick fax. Prior to the healthcare marketing field, Bea worked in banking for over 25 years, where she served as vice-president managing Bookkeeping, Operations, Payroll and Human Resources.

Jim Lloyd
Regional Community Education Director
Jim brings an extensive knowledge and experience of community education in Northeast Mississippi. He conducts private visits with area physicians and staff of long-term healthcare agencies and home health care agencies. He is a public relations representative of the Senior Care unit. Prior to joining RHD, he was Community Relations Director at Trace Pathways in Houston, Miss.

Clif Watson
Acquisions and Development
Centered at the core of Mr. Watson’s expertise are extensive experience in operations for medical facilities, full in-depth knowledge of senior consulting and management services, and a comprehensive background in leadership development. Mr. Watson has over 35 years in corporate level management and networking roles, including service in the capacity of CEO of 200 plus bed hospitals, Senior Executive Vice President positions over multiple hospitals and other health care facilities, as well as ownership in two healthcare companies in the Southeast United States, specializing in LTACHS, Acute Short Term General Hospitals, and Rehabilitation Services. His experience also includes, chemical dependency units, in-patient and out-patient psychiatric facilities and nursing homes. He earned a degree in Business administration from the University of Southern Mississippi.

SHERRY SMITH
Special Projects Director
Sherry began her career in the healthcare industry thirteen years ago as Marketing Director for Humphreys County Memorial Hospital’s Senior Care Unit. After serving as Marketing Director for nine years, she was promoted to Program Director overseeing the day to day operations of the unit. She recently accepted the position of Special Projects Director with the hospital. Her new responsibilities include administering the start up of new hospital offices for both Medical Clinics and Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinics. Sherry also serves as a liaison between physicians and the hospital administration. Prior to joining the hospital Sherry worked for BankPlus for eighteen years. Her positions at BankPlus included Vice President, Cashier, and Trust Officer. Sherry’s civic duties include serving as a board member of the World Catfish Festival for the past twenty years, Chairing the annual Alzheimer’s Memory Walk, and Past President of Humphreys County’s American Heart Association. Sherry and her husband are active members of First Baptist Church in Belzoni.

JACK DANIEL
Acquisitions and Development
Jack has a extensive experience in marketing and development of healthcare services and facilities. As president of Beacon Health Group, LLC, he is responsible for marketing and development of inpatient geriatric programs, IOPs, and CMHCs in Kentucky and Tennessee. His activities include recruitment of physicians, staff development and training of marketing representatives. He was vice-president of development at Allegiance Health Management; program director for Delta Regional Medical Center’s Rehabilitation Center; and has been sales manager and marketing director in a variety of industries.
